Integrated Management System (IMS)
Integrated Management System: the objective
The objective of the IMS is to ensure more efficient control of all company-relevant processes in quality management, environmental protection and occupational health and safety.
Throughout the Group
The competent IMS officers provide the documentation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the IMS valid for all locations, organise internal and external audit and certification programmes, coordinate and support topics of legal compliance management and are responsible for assessing customer satisfaction throughout the Group.
ISO certified
In 2011, 36 locations (production and sales organizations) were externally recertified with ISO 9001:2008 (quality) and 28 locations in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 (environment) by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, Vienna.
In order to enhance the high level of the RHI IMS auditors further, extensive training courses for auditors were conducted in Austria, Germany, and Mexico in 2010; in 2011 courses comprising contents of OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) were added.
